OpenRoom is where Travel meets Social — the place where group trips get booked, planned, and lived together. And the people who make that real aren't just our team. They're travelers like you.

The OpenRoom Ambassador Program is how we bring those travelers into the family. It's built around one simple idea: you should be able to travel for free and earn money traveling, just by sharing something you already love. There are four ways to do it, from a free hoodie all the way to a full paid collaboration — and you climb at your own pace.

What is the Ambassador Program?

It's our program for travelers and creators who love OpenRoom and want to grow with us. You don't need a huge following to start — in fact, you don't need any following at all for the first tier. Think of it as a ladder: four levels, each with its own perks, and you move up whenever you're ready.

You can start anywhere. Most people begin with the hoodie and grow from there.

The four tiers

Tier A — Hoodie & repost

The easiest way in, and it's free.

We send you a one-of-a-kind OpenRoom hoodie, made just for the family. You take a travel photo repping it — on a beach, in the mountains, at a viewpoint, anywhere that feels like you — and send it our way. We post it on the OpenRoom Instagram, and you simply repost the story when it goes live.

That's the whole thing. Nothing to post on your own profile, no follower count required. You wear the hoodie, we feature you.

Tier B — Tournament referrals

This is where it starts to pay.

Every month, OpenRoom runs group tournaments. Refer groups to them and you earn $25 USD for every group that signs up through you. Once you pass ten groups, that jumps to $50 USD per group from your eleventh onward.

The more groups you bring, the more you make — and our top ambassadors get looked after with even better rates. It's a way to travel for free and earn money traveling.

Tier C — Referral code (affiliate marketing)

This one is affiliate marketing, plain and simple.

We give you a personal referral code. You promote OpenRoom bookings to your audience, and for every booking that comes through your code, you earn 5%. Every person who books an OpenRoom stay with your code puts money straight in your pocket. It's travel content that actually pays you back.

Tier D — Custom collab

For collaborators with a strong presence on social media — or anyone who feels they can support OpenRoom in other ways.

There's no single mold here. If you've got an audience, a platform, or simply ideas that could help us grow, we'll build a personalized collaboration agreement with you, tailored to your style and how you like to work. This is the deepest level of partnership, and it's a conversation, not a checklist.

Take your travel photo, send it over, and we'll feature you on our Instagram — you just repost the story.

From there, climb to tournament referrals, your affiliate code, or a custom collaboration whenever you're ready.

No applications to agonize over, no minimums to hit before you start. You're in as soon as you reach out.
